Zasa

He was born in 1970 in Jėkabpilis. In 1977 — 1988 he studied in Zasos high school. In 1988 —1990 he served in the Soviet Army. In 1990 — 1994 he worked in construction brigade community “Zasa”. In 1994 — 1997 he worked in peasant farm “Raiņi”. In 1997 — 1999 he worked as a carpenter in Dziedrs Ltd. Two years he trained in Wisconsin, United States at “Frontier Builders” which is a construction company. In 2002 — 2006 and from 2007 he still works in Dziedrs Ltd. as a master of timber buildings. In 2006 — 2007 he worked in Norway in Otra būve Ltd. He still did not show his works at exhibitions but carving is his hobby. However, he has participated in three symposiums; one of them was in Rokiškis.
