Rokiškis

Born in 1969, in Panevėžys. Attended school in Panevėžys, and later studied at the Kaunas Higher School of Economics, where he chose the speciality of law. In 1980, began to carve. Learning from other masters and visiting exhibitions was a good school for practice and experience. Since 1996, has participated in exhibitions. Several years ago, decided to spend all his time on wood-carving and now cannot imagine his life without it. Wood-carving is the way he makes his living. In 2009, participated in the international symposium in Zasa (Latvia). The Rokiškis City Park is decorated with 6 of his sculptures, 4 of which were created during a symposium in memory of Lionginas Šepka. Has carved more than 80 monumental sculptures and decorative compositions.
