Born in 1956, in Normanteliai village in Joniškis district. Is a third-generation master in the Briedis family dynasty of wood-workers. Both grandfather Jonas and father Jonas were wood-workers. The youngest Jonas began his first works using the wood of linden trees to make small bas-relief images of animals and carved Indians. Having created small sculptures, enjoys placing them in oak trees in the forests around the town of Skaistgirys. Most of his sculptures have been given as gifts to the town of Skaistgirys, in which one can freely walk around his sculpture park. Eight of his tall, artful carvings also adorn the Hill of Crosses in Siauliai district. Purienų g. 13, Skaistgirio mstl., Skaistgirio sen. , Joniškio r. , Lietuva +370 426 68 374
