Vidas Jatulevičius

Biržai

Born in 1960, in Gaižiūnai village in Biržai district. After graduating from the Vilnius State Pedagogical Institute, began to work as a physical education teacher in the Balys Sruoga Secondary School in his hometown of Vabalninkas. Since 1984, has carved and participated in various exhibitions. Since 1994, has been a member of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Society. Has organised several individual exhibitions. In 1994, received the P. Galaune prize, and in 2005, received the Lionginas Sepka prize. In2005, was given the status of a creator of art of the Republic of Lithuania. Often participates in exhibitions in Kupšikis, Rokiškis, Kėdainiai. Exhibits his works at home in a gallery named "A2+Y2".
