Vipe

Janis Zvirbulis has been working at the Vipe elementary school as a trades teacher since 2001. The teacher was teaching the children of Vipe to work with wood, so it was not an accident that the thought occurred to him to establish a crafts centre in the school's reconstructed woodworking shop, in which he could teach the craft to all who took an interest in it. In the future, it is planned to teach other crafts in this centre. Janis obtained the speciality of wood-worker in the Olaine professional secondary school. He later studied at the Daugavpils University, where he attained his qualification as a trades teacher. His passion is wood-working – various carvings, furniture design, and production. Although Janis Zvirbulis devotes much time to his work, he still willingly shares his experience with all who take an interest.
