Exposition of Rokiskis manor castle dining-room

     Rokiškis

Rokiskis area museum lodged in Rokiskis manor homestead saves culture and economy heritage of manors as being exhibited in halls of museums. Interior of manor’s dining-room is restored in museum. It was designed by architects Pranciskus Lilpopas and Karolis Jankovskis. Even dining-room suffered during the war years and metal wedges were stolen, but buffet and wooden walls decoration almost survived. Also interior details as vases, plates, trims and clocks were saved by manor’s serves and they have transferred them to museum when expositions were used to be made here in 1984. For this reason we can declare that dining-room of Rokiskis manor stayed authentic as we can see in photo pictures made by the last Rokiskis count Jonas Aleksandras Psezdzieckis.
